The Clinical Pharmacy Analyst will act as the primary analyst for rebate reporting, auditing of pharmaceutical contracts, and related clinical reporting.  Through this process the Clinical Pharmacy Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of rebates, rebate modeling, and reporting inconsistencies within the contract and the adjudicated amounts.  This position will work closely with the clinical services team to ensure standardization within reporting and providing ad hoc reports when necessary.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop accurate reporting for rebate reimbursement on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Analyze and audit rebates quarterly
  • Create and confirm existing modeling from pharmaceutical contracts
  • Create and confirm modeling for formulary and UM services provided to existing clients
  • Support the clinical services team by creating and/or confirming existing reports for standardization
  • Participate in department and company training and projects
  • Support functional & organizational initiatives as required
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

  • Must possess a 4 year degree, with proven quantitative experience
  • Must demonstrate expertise within Tableau both building and analyzing data
  • PBM, healthcare, pharmaceutical experience preferred 
  • 2 – 4 years of experience required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • High proficiency in Excel required
  • Must have advanced attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to analyze, and interpret data based on results
  • Skills in performing detailed and complex numerical computations and reports
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, including financial modeling
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to listen and understand information and ideas that are presented verbally.
